Ming dynasty‘s "West Factory" & "East Factory"
Those who are the fans of Chinese movies should not have missed those regarding the Imperial Palace internal courts struggling for power.I remember one such movie which depicts the power struggle by different prince to be the heir apparent to the throne. In that movie, one such prince with the support of the imperial officials set up intelligent agencies called the "East Factory" and "West Factory" to penetrate the competitors' and dissident's and use hired assassins to eliminate their opponents and their supporters.
Can we see a pattern like those depicted in the movies in Malaysia? Of course, there might not be bloodshed in our case, but l am not too sure either as l am not in the Police force or Intelligent agencies. Recently, the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/108662) has been very active and swift in "taking actions against Pekatan Rakyat's elected representatives in Selangor and we "have seen a political secretary of one Executive Councilor who was reported jumping off the 14th floor HQ of Selangor's MACC .
At least the police is fast to announced that Teo Beng Hock jumped off the 14th floor building even before they start their investigation, that is what we called "off-this-world" standard and speed. Should Malaysian praise the police for their efficiency?
Then the minister in the PM department immediately came out to caution Malaysian not to point finger at the MACC (http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/108656) and he says "Then he should have gone home (instead)....and how would we know that he would jump out of the building?" the de facto law minister added. It was like he knows what happened but what puzzle Malaysians is the fact that how could the minister knows that Teo Beng Hock jumped out the building when he wasn't present at the time unless of course he knows something that we do not know. I think the police should know who they should seek assistance from in the investigation.
The Attorney General of Malaysia should recommend that a Royal Commission be set up in this case to "free" the PM and his BN government from any finger-pointing by the general public and the oppositions.
May be it is time to disband the MACC and set up a new Anti-corruption agency reporting only to the Parliament instead of reporting to the PM. The MACC has lost all its credibility for the recent developments and there is no reason why the PM can not replace it if he is serious about " 1 Malaysia, People first, Performance now"
I hope this article would not draw the “East or West" factory's agency men to me as their next target or else we will see the rebirth of the Ming's dynasty in Malaysia.

Can I borrow 25 dollars?
Received this meaningful story through email which should be shared with all, please pass on to all your friends and family members.
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolity's.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
May bethere was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied...
'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours... But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
Please don't break this even if you only send it to one person. Thanks

but by the love we give.
