Re: Standing order 23, Notice of Motion
This serves to give notice under Standing Order 23 that the undersigned, ADUN for N. 54 Pelawan, shall move the following motion at the above Dewan sitting during the current session:-
“WHEREAS Sarawak due to its vast size and lacks of road connectivity requires air service in Rural Sarawak
AND WHEREAS Rural Air Service (RAS) has been assigned to Mas Wings exclusively making it a monopoly.
AND WHEREAS the air fares charged by Maswings are outrageous making air travel not possible for many.
AND WHEREAS federal government allocated RM190 millions to the Rural air service in Sabah and Sarawak.
AND WHEREAS the federal government is in the process of reviewing the whole RAS in Sarawak.
THEREFORE IT IS MOVED THAT THIS HOUSE HEREBY RESOLVES THAT:-
1. The state government to set up its own airline company, Air Sarawak, to take over RAS in Sarawak.
2. Asking the Federal government to allocate RM200 million to Air Sarawak annually for RAS.
N.54柏拉旺区州议员黄培根将于11月8日召开的砂州立法会议援引议会常规第23条文提呈一项动议。
动议砂拉越政府成立砂拉越航空公司(Air
Sarawak) 来取代目前由马航飞翼航空公司( Maswings)垄断的内陆航班服务。
鉴于:
1) 砂拉越的面积极为扩大而且道路的链接极为缺乏,因此我们必须依赖空运来连接砂拉越各城市和内陆。
2) 砂拉越和沙巴的内陆航线全部归于飞翼航空造就了它们的垄断地位。
3) 飞翼航空公司的离谱昂贵机票使许多砂拉越同胞无法负担。
4) 每年联邦政府给予飞翼航空的内陆航线的津贴高达马币1亿9000万。
5) 联邦政府正在检讨整个砂拉越的乡区航空服务计划。
因此,动议州立法议会通過以下的议决:
1) 打造一家属于砂拉越政府的航空公司来取代飞翼航空公司的内陆航线,并提高服务
效率和给予人民可以负担得起的机票。
2) 要求联邦政府每年拨款马币2亿来津贴砂拉越内陆航空服务。
3) 邀请亚航成为伙伴以打造一个有效率的航空公司并借助亚航的庞大顾客和链接来把
砂拉越推销予全世界。
