DUN Questions for June 2016 sitting

1) To ask the Honorable CM (oral answer)
On oil and gas royalties 

You said that we will ask for 20% oil and gas royalties when the oil prices rebound, can you explain what is the price criteria being set?

2) To ask the Honorable CM (written answer)
On Sarawak autonomy

The DCM Datuk Amar Abang Johari Bin Tun Abang Openg has been tasked to negotiate with the federal government for the returning of Sarawak rights as per our MA63, is there any dateline set for the completion of the negotiations?
Please give the details on the parameters of the talk/ negotiation.


3) To ask the Honorable CM (written answer)
On DCM

A) You asked the Chinese community to vote for the SUPP if they want a Chinese DCM, now that the SUPP has won 7 of the seats they contested, would you not honor your words?

B) What benefits and perks are attached to the post of a DCM? Please list out in details.

4) To ask the Honorable CM (written answer)
On the sales tax on oil palm

The oil palm farmers are suffering due to low prices of palm oil and the soaring prices of fertilizers and insecticides, will the state government stop the sale tax imposed on oil palm for the small holders until the price of palm oil rebound?

5) To ask the Honorable CM (oral answer)
 On the RM 70 million Sibu outer link proposal by DAP

Would you consider the Sibu Outer Link proposal after the BN won 3 of the 5 state seats in Sibu? If not,why?

6) To ask the Honorable CM (oral answer)
On new civil servants intake

Is there any plan to rationalize the intakes of state civil servants so that there will be equal representation from all the ethnic groups? If no, why?


7) To ask the Honourable CM (written reply)
On Sarawakians head of departments

A)  How many departments (both the federal and state government) in Sarawak are headed by Sarawakians?
B)   Please list out the details of all the ministries and departments in Sarawak and highlight those that are being headed by non Sarawakians.

8) To ask the Honorable Minister for Local government (oral answer)
On local councils

What is your plan to help the local councils to source for more funding from the state/federal government and how do you ensure that they improve their services? 

9) To ask the Honorable second finance minister (oral answer)

What is your role in the state government? Do you have the actual power of a minister or your post is just like an assistant minster of other ministries?

10) To ask the Honourable CM (oral answer)

Seven out of the 10 ministries are headed by PBB, does that mean that it's actually a PBB government and you don’t need other BN component parties to govern?
