On Sarawak University College of Technology
a)
Why build a university college
instead of a full fledged University?
b)
The PM promised a University, why is
it not funded by the federal government?
c)
How much would it cost the state
government?
2. To ask the
Chief Minister [Oral answer] (39 words)
a)
Would Sarawak block the
implementation of the AES in view of the strong dissent from the general
public?
b)
What are the benefits of the AES when
the fine would not be channeled to improve the road conditions in Sarawak?
3. To ask the Chief Minister [Written answer]
On
creating a computer literate society
a)
Would the state government consider
giving free Wi-Fi services to all the peoples in the state? If yes, how? If no,
why?
b)
Please list out the number of
computers being distributed in each division of the state under the 1 Malaysia
Computer Laptop Program.
c)
What are the criteria for the
entitlement of the said 1 Malaysia Computer Laptop Program?
4. To ask
the chief minister [Written asnwer]
On SCORE
a.
How many jobs have been created for the
locals and foreigners under the SCORE for the respective years of 2009, 2010
and 2011?
b.
Please list out the details on (a)
for all the respective divisions of Sarawak.
c.
How much land has the state
government taken from the private sectors for its implementation since its
inception in 2008?
5. To ask
the Minister of Public Utilities [Written answer]
In respect of the public transportation
system
a.
In view of the high cost of fuels and
the burden on the low and medium incomes families it causes, what plans are
there in place to upgrade the public transportation systems in the state?
b.
Please state for the respective years
of 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, the allocation of fund from the federal and
state government to upgrade the public transportation system in Sarawak.
c.
Is there any plan
by the state government to demand the federal government to
extend the discount of commuter fare, such as those given to the KMT in West
Malaysia, to the public transportation system such as the licensed bus
companies in the Sarawak?
6. To ask the

On Sarawak developments
a.
How much development fund has the
federal government allocated for Sarawak under the Malaysia 2013 budget?
b.
How would the state government allocate
the development fund? Please list them out by each division of the state.
7. To ask the

On
the 10% lottery sales tax
a.
What is the rationale for the state
government to charge a 10% lottery sales tax?
b.
How much has the state government
collected from 2007-2011?
c.
How was the money collected on these
lottery sales being utilized?

How many timber licenses have been
issued in Sarawak during the last 10 years?
b.
State the names of the 10 largest timber licensees in Sarawak
c.
State the conditions imposed for them to obtain the licenses.

ask the Chief Minister [written answer]
a.
How much federal and state development
funds have been channeled to all the state constituencies from 2007-2011?
Please list out the federal and state funds that had been given to each
constituency.
b.
How were the funds been channeled?
Direct into the account of the state assemblymen or through the district
offices or other government agencies?

Development and Communication

On
roads in Sibu
a.
Is there any plan to install street lamps along Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce? If
yes, when? If no, why?
b.
Is there any plan to
upgrade Jalan Deshon, a protocol road, which links the Sibu Airport to the town
center? When was it last upgraded?
c.
Please state for the
respective years of 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, the allocation of funds from
the federal and state government for the
upgrading and maintenance of federal, state, town and feeder roads in Sibu
Division.
